Krok po kroku

Visiting Zakopane is a perfect opportunity to learn about
the wooden architecture of Podhale highlanders, and to see
the beautiful villas in Zakopane style, which was inspired by
the folklore of this region.
It is impossible to visit Zakopane and not go to Gubałówka (1123 metres above sea level) – the best known peak of the winter capital of Poland, as well as one of the best viewing points, from where you can see the Tatra Mountains, Zakopane and the entire Podhale region.
You will ride the funicular to the top of Mount Gubałówka and spend 1 hour here to admire commanding views of the Tatras and Zakopane.
You will visit the most popular street Krupówki, which is a peculiar market of the city and its central point. Krupówki street is crowded with tourists who visit shops and go to restaurants located along the street. On this street you can find many traditional highlander items to buy, such as clothes and souvenirs, but also to eat.
You will have some free time to spend over here.
